Well done swimmers. Magnificent effort. We romped home with the Visitor's Trophy which is a nice shield never before won by Ryde. It will be on display at the desk.

For a few glorious moments we were still ahead of Warringah on the annual total BPS score by an all-important 20 points only until it was discovered they hadn't included the Relay Points! So now we are running second to Warringah by 50 points. Assuming the figures are correct, Warringah now has 6036, Ryde has 5986 and Novos a mere 5082. Can we get ahead again? See how we go at Port Macquarie!

And in the Medley Shoot-out (which is a very demanding competition) our Nathan Eaves won the Men's and Catherine Todd came a very close second in the Women's. We are very proud of you.

In age groups First places for Grant, Catherine, Natalie, Nathan, Kathy, Julia, Jamie and Jenny, Second places to Barbara and Michael, Third to Ailsa and David Grauaug. And everyone else earned much appreciated points.

Our Relays did well: in Women's 160+ we came first, second and third out of 4. Others came second, third and fourth all gaining lots of much needed points (and that includes Val's stylish solo finish!). Many thanks to Greg and Vicky for organising the relays.
