That was an endurance feat!!! Our swimmers did excellently well and we won the Visitors' Trophy (which I will bring to training on Monday, tomorrow) and are still ahead of Warringah. But only by 63 points.

The Pirates did an amazing job despite so many things going wrong: a double booking for the pool being the main thing. They adapted very quickly and made the best of it with a Water Polo Match (and its associated noise) and no warm-up lane available. Swimmers coped as far as possible but inevitably it overran time and some swimmers had to leave early. Many thanks indeed to those who nobly stayed on to swim in relays and the later events.

Despite sickness amongst our swimmers we came second to Pirates with 590 points and Warringah came in third with 527. Our relays did well: Men's 240+ coming second, Mixed 160+ coming third and Mixed 200+ fourth (by a very close 2 seconds). Please look on the MSNSW website for details which should be posted in the next few days. Due to over-running time we had to leave before individual points could be shared.
