Lake Macquarie BPS Carnival

Back on top! Can we stay there?

Lake Macquarie BPS Carnival

A very successful Carnival for Ryde. We finished winning overall and 441 points ahead of Warringah. This means we are back at the top of the BPS table ahead by 324 points. But can we stay there for the last 3 Carnivals of the year??? The next Carnival is Port Macquarie (now closed) and we should stay ahead but lose the big lead. To win the pointscore - which is very much in our reach now - we need maximum attendance at Novocastrian Carnival on Sat 26 November

and at the Wests Auburn Twilight Sprint meet on Saturday 10th December

enter both either on line or through the club - but enter!!!

Meanwhile individually in age groups: first place to Cassie, Michael, Sonia and Jamie; second to Steve, Yvette, Greg and Jack; third to Alan, Sue, Susan, Shirley, Amanda and Wim; fourth to Helen. And plenty of PBs amongst us. Well done everyone and our relays came in with two firsts and a third.

And everyone was wonderful at timekeeping including two non-swimming supporters who were warmly welcomed and of great help: thanks Andrew and Juan.

Whilst welcoming people, we would like to welcome Leigh's new baby Harris in to the world; mother doing well.
