2012 Central Coast Carnival - Gosford

Ryde has started the year at the first carnival for the season by coming 4th out of the 32 clubs competing. We had 4 relay teams 2 of which came resoundingly first: our Women's 4 x 100 aged 160 + (Kathy, Susan, Natalie and Juilia) and our Mixed 4 x 50 aged 160+ (Kathy, Susan, Andrew and Greg). And individually Natalie, Kathy and Julia came first in their age-groups, Susan, Greg and Yvette 5th, Jamie 3rd, Wendy M 4th, Andrew 6th, Brad and Jack 7, Helen 8, and I think I've missed someone out but can't read my slightly damp writing. Anyway everyone contributed points in relays and as individuals. Details will be up on the web soon. It was a good day; we have 4 trainee Timekeepers and we all did some timekeeping. Many thanks to you all and to the car drivers who helped get everyone there and back safely.
